This blog is our way of letting you know about the delicious and free meals available in the Derry, New Hampshire area. We hope you will join us for an enjoyable meal in an inviting community setting.
This blog is posted by "Elijah's Table," a joint project of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration (1 Hood Road, Derry, NH) and Etz Hayim Synagogue (1-1/2 Hood Road, Derry, NH), both located on Hood Road in Derry, NH. Twice a month we provide free, family-friendly dinners, which are served in a relaxed atmosphere. There are other organizations in the Derry, New Hampshire area that also offer free and delicious meals to the public. Please see the calendar on the right-hand side of this blog for a list of upcoming meals. And don't forget the offerings of the Sonshine Soup Kitchen (described on the left-hand side of this blog) and The Derry Salvation Army!

“Friendship," said Christopher Robin, "is a very comforting thing to have.” (A.A. Milne)
It was good to be with you all on Sunday. We had cheese and cracker appetizers, pie and ice cream and, of course, wonderful food in between. And in between and all around there were good friends.
Here are some pictures from our evening: "Cheese and crackers," "A distinguished fellow," "Man in fun checkered shirt," "I won a pie!" "Eryore finds a home," "Folks checking out the blog," "Woman in a fancy red shirt," "Pooh finds a home," "The shirt I want," and "Good friends." Please join us next time.
