What's priceless? Tonight, one of our customers was overheard saying, "I didn't want to go outside tonight, but I felt I needed some fresh food, so I came." That is
exactly what we strive for; that is, great fresh food that is worth a trip into the cold. Tonight, in addition to lasagna, we had two different kinds of salad (garden and spinach with cranberries and sunflower seeds); a delicious fresh green bean dish with sesame seed dressing; fresh fruit salad; and pineapple upside-down cake, apple crisp, blueberry cake, and vanilla ice cream. It was warm and toasty and we had a few cakes to give as prizes. Please join us next time. We love having you for dinner!
Below are: (1) a home-made "Welcome Back!" sign, made by our pre-teen and teen volunteers to welcome back our guests after our two-month hiatus; (2) a happy customer with Frank, a faithful friend; and (3) two pictures of a few special friends from the Episcopal Church who came to help us clean up tonight. Which of the two do you prefer? Email me by clicking on the envelope at the bottom of this post.
