“Friendship," said Christopher Robin, "is a very comforting thing to have.” (A.A. Milne)

It was good to be with you all on Sunday. We had cheese and cracker appetizers, pie and ice cream and, of course, wonderful food in between. And in between and all around there were good friends. Here are some pictures from our evening: "Cheese and crackers," "A distinguished fellow," "Man in fun checkered shirt," "I won a pie!" "Eryore finds a home," "Folks checking out the blog," "Woman in a fancy red shirt," "Pooh finds a home," "The shirt I want," and "Good friends." Please join us next time.

Time for Fellowship and Pie

I can't think of a better time to have an Elijah's Table dinner. The disturbing events in Boston have affected us all. Come relax with us on Sunday, April 21. Have a great meal and some pie with a bit of ice cream. And maybe a door prize: we're featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and Eryore. "When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?" "What's for [dinner]?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet. Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.” ― A.A. Milne [with a minor edit].
