We had a nice crowd tonight, despite the cold and blowing snow. A serenade by a talented harpist, delicious lasagna and comfy mac and cheese, bright veggies, and chocolate kisses -- and good friends, of course -- made braving the weather absolutely worthwhile. Here are a few snapshots of our evening.

Chocolately and Valentiney.
I'm looking forward to our dinner on Sunday the 17th. I imagine there will be something chocolatey and valentiney for us to eat. Also, we are expecting a talented harpist to play for us! Last month, we were serenaded by a few piano players. I recently received this lovely comment from their piano teacher: "Not only was it a great experience for the kids to play for an audience, their whole families really enjoyed themselves, not only the meal, but also the warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere."
So strap on your boots, pink shoes, or high heels: Sunday promises to be a great event.
